An important meeting at Wausau adopted a seven meet circuit schedule with Merrill Wausau Marshfield Stevens Point New London Appleton Oshkosh. Purses are liberal for 2 24 pace 2 17 trot and related events. Elected president E Blodgett and secretary L K Wicht. Marshfield urged to join the circuit.
The report describes a new primary law requiring a petition signed by 3 to 10 percent of last election votes or the party presidential votes for the city wards. It lists Roosevelt vote tallies per ward and outlines targets for Democratic and city officer races, naming positions and ward election officers.

An adjourned church meeting accepted Rev. I F Young's resignation and endorsed remodeling at a $6000 cost. The plan includes elevating the edifice, a new eleven foot basement for Sunday school and events, stone and cement work, steam heat, repainting, plastering, and enlarging the south wing twelve feet. The present building committee remains and will seek financial support with a report due March 1.
General Order No. 14 highlights Company A second into the city advancing from 22nd to 15th in rifle and general work. The unit ranks 18th in rifle, 26th in general work with a new corps of vounteers and many women. A congressman Brown presents John F. Cole postmaster reappointment. otherwise the department respects his choice. Nick Helm of Ashland, pioneer, dies aged 52. funeral held with Rev. Thom officiating. survivor includes brother Henry Fechhelm and Mrs. Matt Wright.
Members of the Fraternal Reserve Association of this city met Tuesday night in the rodee rooms over Sexton's drugstore for their annual gathering. Supreme President E. R. Hicks of Oshkosh attended, with Slicks delivering a lively talk on the lodge's progress. Deputy Sweeney of Grand Rapids, Marcus Hansen, and Otto Meyer spoke. Misses Arlie Hinman and Lulu Elvis contributed songs and readings. Refreshments followed, provided by lady members. The local council, begun Oct 14, 1905 with 53 members, now numbers 86. officers include Otto Meyer president and Marcus Hansen vice president.
