Justice for Edgar rocks a Colby town rumor

A local married man from Colby met a Edgar resident and behaved with a young Edgar woman. His wife had him watched. he was fined 50 dollars then escorted the woman to a medicine show. A warrant followed for the young woman, who was fined 50 dollars and banished from town. The woman had testified against Frank Jadack, who ostatiously was sent to the penitentiary for criminal assault.

Conductors' Annual Ball in Abbotsford Tonight

Marshfield residents will travel to Abbotsford this evening for the Central conductors annual ball. The Arion Orchestra of Oshkosh has been engaged to provide music for the event, promising a delightful affair.

Kenneth Carr the young son of Conductor Carr

A grainy 18 and a half tone portrait shows Kenneth Carr aged 27 months, described as very large and strong for his age. Kenneth and Mrs. William Carr are credited with the image from Suetle Brothers. He is noted as one of the few people who hold life passes on the Priestship and North-Eastern Rail, and is recognized as a lively youngster on the north side.

Meat Thief Stolen Baskets Found On Roof, Return Claimed

A resident on Fifth Avenue stored two bushel baskets of beef pork and sausage on a high porch. After neighbors spotted the loaded baskets on the roof, a Christmas morning search led to their recovery. Police were alerted but the goods were restored with no arrest. Kraus and Voelker reportedly plan an invention to deter porch theft.

Wenzel and Wenzel Host Snowbound Children's Party at Armory

Despite a heavy snowfall Wenzel and Wenzel held a successful children's party at the armory. The Second Regiment Orchestra provided music, four hundred children formed a grand march, and activities ran from afternoon into evening with dances for adults after nine.
