Badger Aeris No. 624 of Marsnfeld held a Thursday smoker at headquarters to mark one year since the order's founding. Committee members Oscar Lange Leo Cotrnoyer E J Kelley Geo Dickhoff and H J Emanuel organized entertainment for a pleasant evening. The group has grown to about 115 members and pursued active community work including the Fourth of July celebration a first annual ball and baseball wins over the Elks.

Thomas Thompson, a Marshfield pioneer and former resident, died near Medford Saturday from injuries after a logging camp timber accident. His body was brought home by Odd Fellows and funeral services were held at the M E church with C C F in attendance. He leaves a wife and three children Anna Benjamin and Harry plus a brother Knud Thompson. The community offers sincere sympathy to the bereaved.
