Auburndale youth George OBrien, son of a prominent farm manager, faced a school dispute in Dexterville over cleanliness and discipline. A warrant led to Mrs. Henry Morris being jailed briefly for abusive language toward OBrien, who had instructed her to have her daughter cleaned up. The incident followed OBrien posting home a student for grooming issues. Grandmother Gosline Dies After Long Wisconsin Life
Elizabeth Gosline known as Grandma to Marshfield residents died Thursday at about 4 80 o clock aged 85. She came from Vermont in 1862 and lived in Marshfield for twenty years. Survived by daughter Mrs M Bradford and three sons Theodore George and Edward Gosling. Funeral at St John s Catholic Church Saturday at nine. Norman Anderson son of Rev and Mrs A J Anderson died after four weeks illness from pleurisy. Born August 28, 1898 in Grantsberg Wisconsin, he lived most of his life in Marshfield and graduated eighth grade. He worked at Hotel Blodgett and later in Stevens Point. Funeral today at 10:00 a m from South Maple street residence with Rev G A Lunde officiating. Burial in Richfield. Survived by parents sisters H Cornish Matt Bronstad Laura and brother Walter. The Times extends sympathy.
