Trip Through the Dells Excursion Illustates Scenic Tour
A large group traveled from the city to the Dells via Wisconsin Central last Sunday, enjoying a boat trip through the canyon and a visit to Cold Water Canyon and Witchs Gulch. Struck by a Train Near Hewitt Causes Death
An intoxicated 20 year old Joseph Hoffiman was killed early Monday near Hewitt when struck by a Wisconsin Central train. A coroner's jury found death by being struck on the head as he lay on the track, with witness testimony indicating liquor influence.
