Marsfield Council Proceedings Altercation Over Sewer and Library Access
The August meeting of the Marsfield Common Council opened with roll call and routine minutes. Residents complained sewer depth causing higher water bills. the council considered adjusting charges. The Library Board requested removal of an exterior basement entrance and rerouting stairs for safer, level access. Public Works discussed street and hydrant projects and granted several wall and sidewalk improvements. Finance approved fund transfers and bill payments to multiple vendors. The council appointed W. H. Kampa to the Library Board and confirmed other minor appointments as the adjournment loomed.
