The history tracks St John’s Church in Marshfield from its 1882 start with 86 pupils, through enrollment growth, a 1888 brick four room school, and the various pastors. It notes Rev I Schaller’s tenure and death, Rev Paul Geyer’s projects and reassignments, administrative shifts after Bishop Flasch’s death, and Rev John Eisen’s arrival amid fundraising debates for a larger church, ending with a note on continued efforts to unite the parish by subscription.
