Rev A M Pilcher Dead After Long Pastoral Service
Rev A M Pilcher longtime pastor of the Marshall Methodist Episcopal Church died at his Amboy Illinois home on August 23 1900 at nearly 72. He built ten churches formed a large active flock starting with two men and nine women and ending with about 200 worshipers and oversaw church growth including the brick and stone structures and revival work. He is survived by five sons and two daughters.
