Hedrick reports 1550 hunting licenses issued in Clark county this year ending June 1 1902 with Marshall 630 Casey 235 Martinsville 200 and Westfield 125. The rest were issued by town clerks. One foreign license issued. Despite many licenses there were numerous prosecutions for hunting without licenses.

Damage suit settled in four thousand dollar payout
