Bridge petitions and highway costs dominate Clark County proceedings
In Parker and Orange townships of Clark County Illinois, highway commissioners petitioned for county aid to cover half the costs of building bridges over Willow Creek Lambs Branch and other crossings. Estimates range from six to nine hundred dollars, with prior road and bridge tax levies noted. Committees were appointed to work with township highway commissioners to secure funding and coordinate construction.
