Lance Cpl. Don E. Stepp 20 Route 5 Marshall was killed September 11 near Da Nang Vietnam by gunshot wounds when a rifle was accidentally discharged by another serviceman. A 1965 Marshall High School graduate he had 15 months in service and recently re enlisted. Surviving are his mother five sisters and five brothers. Funeral services were held at Marrs Funeral Home with military graveside rites at Dunlap Cemetery.

David Howard Injured Riding Bicycle
David Howard a five year old boy son of Mr and Mrs Drexel Howard suffered serious injuries in a bicycle fall last Thursday at about 6 30 p.m. He was admitted to Union Hospital Terre Haute on the seventh floor children’s ward and will need several weeks of hospital care.
