Frank Guthneck publisher of a little paper at Danville was found guilty Friday by a Federal court jury of sending obscene material through the mails. A sealed verdict opened Monday reveals Guthneck’s long troubled career with publications in Marshall and his harsh polemics against opponents. The case stemmed from a scurrilous article in his paper titled Preachers in Dry Danville. Meanwhile, the Wabash District Regular Baptist Association holds its 113th annual meeting at Rich Woods church Westfield township with free meals and no collection, beginning Tuesday.
