Russell MacIntyre, four months old, died Tuesday when the temporary house blown by a storm collapsed near the Illinois line. The infant was son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence MacIntyre, residents of Terre Haute. County coroner Dr. Wm. Rogers investigated. Daniel Cline, 67, died at home in Marshall Monday morning. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant church with Rev. J. W. Richards officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. J. D. Taubeneck and family and O. C. Taubeneck visited their parents last week. O. C. Taubeneck, formerly a rural teacher in Clark county, will teach at Nowstal Community High School, and J. C. Taubeneck will head the public speaking department at Minnesota State Normal University.

Hay Barn Struck by Lightning Near Martinsville
A large hay barn belonging to J. P. Byram and Son at Martinsville near the depot was struck by lightning around 7:00 PM Tuesday during a storm and burned to the ground. The barn held baled hay with $1000 insurance, but actual losses exceeded that amount.

The Clark County Poultry Association was organized during a Martinsville Saturday night event sponsored by the Martinsville Merchants Association.
