Mrs L O Kitchen and her young son from Connersville Indiana visited relatives and attended the fair on Monday evening. Miss Ellen Fasig died Monday evening aged about 60 and may have her remains arrive Wednesday morning. She was a daughter of the late Christian Fasig an early local settler and leaves several brothers and sisters. Howard Roland and his wife from Iowa are in town to spend the week with relatives and attend the fair.

Forgery Charge Against 16 Year Old
Harold Culter, 16, was arrested Sunday on forgery charges for allegedly forging four checks totaling 23 dollars and cashing them at T. W. Shipe's store. Sunday event by Five Points Sunday school followed a contest between Reds and Blues. Blues led in attendance as they gathered at the church then traveled to a north gravesite with a long table of food. Ice cream and cake were served after dinner then singing games filled the evening.
