The Marshall high school student council sponsors a 1964 homecoming parade at 2 30 p m with 13 floats from freshman to senior classes and clubs. Miss Jeanne Forsythe, homecoming queen, rides a special float with attendants. prizes include a trophy and 20 dollars in three divisions.

John Hilton a high school senior and local minister was killed Tuesday when his car struck a deer while returning home in Arizona. He is survived by grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Montgomery of Marshall who traveled to Arizona for his funeral.
