Catherine Wyrick Davison died October 22, 1919 at Marshall aged 90 years 1 month and 7 days. Born September 15 1892 in Virginia she was married to Reese Davison June 19 1853 and leaves eight children and many grandchildren. A lifelong Methodist active in unselfish Christian service she passed peacefully described as the beginning of an endless day.
Work of Farm Bureau notes an afternoon program with C C Logan Crawford county agent discussing limestone sand soils and lime use while Bull of White Truck Co presents cost figures for trucks. Frank FP Marvin born 1854 in Clark County Illinois died October 14 1919 at his Los Angeles home after a lingering illness He was 65 Funeral held in Los Angeles October 16 at 2 pm Burial at Forest Lawn Walnut Prairie native He married Lizzie Napper in 1876 and had Otto Sparks Nevada and Bernice Gluesing Los Angeles as living children Also surviving are brother Albert West Union Ohio sister Rachel Poor man nearby Alver Oklahoma and a half brother and three half sisters near West Union Sympathy extended to widow and children
Hannah Jane Warford Murphy died October 29 1919 at age 89 after a long life in Knox County Illinois. She married William Murphy June 3 1849 and had ten children, eight of whom preceded her. two surviving Amos Murphy and Mrs Mattie Craig of West Union. The funeral was held October 31 at 1 30 p m at the Amos Murphy home with Elder E A Sweet of Marshall officiating and burial beside her husband in York cemetery.

Alfred Joy of Dennison died at 2 30 in the afternoon Wednesday. The funeral was held in the Dunlap Chapel Friday morning at 1100. He leaves a wife Mrs Mary Joy, one brief sister and four brothers.
