Accident Claims Life Of Eijah Clark On Farm
Eijah Clark a longtime Wabash township resident was accidentally killed while working on a corn ground at Chris Stoelting’s farm six miles east of town. He fell in front of a machine and died within minutes after Mr Stoelting heard his shout. He was 61 and married. Funeral services will be held tomorrow in Livingston Lodge.

Veteran Indiana Soldier Dies in Marshal Community
William Ho Lowe aged 76 or older died at his home on North Fourth Street Sunday from heart trouble complicated by asthma. Born March 3, 1841 in Parke County he served in Co K 49th Indiana Infantry after falsely enlisting in 1862, later living near Marshal and joining the Church of God in 1867. He was justice of the peace 18 years and police magistrate six years, widowed after his wife, and survived by three daughters, a son, two sons in law, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
