Wright Monument Unveiled in Indiana for Wilbur Wright
A first US monument to Wilbur Wright, aircraft inventor, was unveiled at Henry County Memorial Park near Newcastle Indiana. The ceremony capped a weeklong centennial celebration by Newcastle Phi Delta Kappa, with members who served overseas and in the air service. Wright was born on a farm eight miles east of Newcastle.
