Terminal leave pay drive urged for veterans
The Illinois Veterans Commission reports only about 60 percent of eligible personnel have applied for terminal leave pay with a Sept. 1, 1947 deadline. Calls announce faster payouts as Army and Navy set up large staff to process claims. Veterans may seek help from Service Officer G. J. Bhikleberry at the Court House each Wednesday 10 am to 5 pm.
