Couple Injured When Car Upturned Near Livingston
Mr and Mrs R Kane of Los Angeles California were seriously injured Wednesday afternoon when their car rolled about one mile east of Livingston. Driving east at sixty miles per hour they left the pavement striking the concrete, the vehicle overturning. They were taken to Marshall by passerby James Cosgrove and then to Dr R A Mitchell for treatment. Mrs Kane suffered serious cuts to arms and limbs while Mr Kane had facial and hand injuries. They are staying at the National Dixie Hotel until able to continue.

The Marshall quintet defeated Robinson 22 to 21 in a hard fought season finale played Friday night. Robinson led 10 6 after the first quarter and the game remained tied at 10 10 at halftime and 16 16 after the third. Man Injured When Cars Go Together Near Marshall
Alva Emerick from west of Hibride suffered serious injuries when his Ford truck struck a machine without lights about six Friday evening one mile west of Marshall. He was treated at Marshall by Dr. R A Mitchell after being brought by a bus driver. Emerick had a broken nose heavy facial cuts and was tossed from his ruined vehicle. The other car’s driver had his wrecked machine moved to Terre Haute for repairs and he gave no apparent attention to Emerick after the crash.
