Ruth Jane Griffith born January 31 1853 in John son Township Clark county Illinois died February 18 1927. She married Joseph Lake February 16 1874 and had one daughter Grace who survives. The family lived on farms in Darwin and Grand Turn before moving to Marshall in 1918 she resided there until death. She also leaves sister Elizabeth Hurst of Auburn.
