Harry C. Muller arrived in Marshall without a home and checked into the Marshall House. He forged a check drawn on Walter Edens and used it to buy liquor, leading to警identification and capture at the Frontier Bar. He pled guilty before County Judge John M Hollenbeck and was sentenced to one year at Vandalia penal farm, giving him a home for at least a year. Papers in his room indicated operations in many states.
