Attorney General Carlstrom Rules on Tax Valuations and Dog Rabies Regulations
Springfield Ill July 27 The board of review may compel an officer of a corporation or private person to swear to the accuracy of tax valuations. Refusal under oath is a misdemeanor with fines up to 500 dollars. Cities towns and villages may enact ordinances but outside these areas action is limited to public highways or when dogs kill domestic animals.
