Man Kills Self in Michigan City
The body of Frank L. Raines of Chicago was found in Washington Park on the lake front at Michigan City Indiana last Wednesday. He reportedly shot himself in the right temple with a new revolver. A telephone call from Daniel W. LeGore of Indianapolis followed the discovery saying Raines had written him of his plan to commit death by own action that morning. Raines, sick and out of work, described his clothing to identify him for his Indianapolis cousin. He was brother to Eva Raines of Marshall who was visiting in Indianapolis with Dan LeGore. A trunk and bag with clothes for his sister arrived at Mrs Ada Yonis's home in Marshall, with a note that all his money was for his sister’s support. He was buried in Michigan City per his request.

Guy Roberts 28 of Paris sustained a sprained back lacerated hand and scratched leg when his Cocoa Cola Bottling Works truck was crowded into a ditch two miles west of here about 8:00 Monday morning. R E Vaughn of Centrali driving a touring car struck the Paris truck overturning it into the ditch. The truck was badly wrecked and 32 of 94 cases of Coca Cola broken.
