In Paris Friday James Howerton pleaded guilty in county court to a statutory offense and was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail. Dora Ewell of Hume, who had Howerton arrested, was jailed on the same charge after producing an old marriage certificate with erased names and crude pencil updates.
