Swine Brucellosis Linked to Abortion Risk From Infected Boars
Dr. Robert Graham of the University of Illinois warns that diseased boars often introduce swine brucellosis causing abortions at any gestation stage. Farm records show healthy-looking boars can spread the disease, which also affects cattle and can cause indulent fever in humans. Testing and blood screening are urged as the surest control, with 81 farmers already enrolled in the University demonstration project.

University Dairy Shows Mastitis Control Success
