She married Benjamin L Veach September 14 1904 who died April 20 1916. She later married George Edward Powell May 28 1930. Surviving son Ivan Veach Marshall granddaughter Dolores Murphy St Elmo Illinois two great grandchildren and many relatives. She affirmed faith in the Lord and died reconciled in that faith.

The 1964 Illinois crop review notes a mixed year with severe southern drought hurting many farmers and cattle feeders. Corn yield averaged 78 bushels per acre, ranking third all time, with state production about 710 million bushels worth over 800 million dollars. Soybeans declined from 1963, wheat and oats also below 1963 records, while Illinois maintained top national position in total soybean production.
