Week of Prayer unites Marshell churches for nightly services
The clergymen of Marshell join to hold a week of prayer with union services each evening at a different church. The program lists Tuesday at U B church led by Rev Ehrhardt. Wednesday at Christian Shareh. Thursday at Baptist church. Friday at Congregational Church. Saturday at M S church. Rev Burt Rev Lee and Rev Pierson lead committees urging attendance and reflection.

Sunday Services At M M H Church Draw Large Crowds
Sunday services at the M M H church were largely attended with a full morning congregation and a crowded auditorium at night. The Sunday school rooms and gallery were well used and Rev Black preached two fine sermons. Instrumental and vocal music highlighted both services with Dr Clarence Black his wife of Indianapolis Dr Andrews Carl Craig and Miss Floy Wright providing instrumental talent.

Died on Christmas Day Charles Guinnip passes peacefully
Charles Guinnip died Christmas afternoon at 3 30 after a long illness. Born September 16 1857 in Marshall he married Lydia Quick April 12 1892. Survived by wife five children Homer Ellen Harry Frederick one brother Ed Guinnip one sister Mrs Brainer and half sister Mrs Cupp. He joined the Christian church about thirty five years ago and had been ill for two years. He died peacefully leaving a void for family and friends.

Death of Fred Winterrowd in Martinsville
Fred C. Winterrowd, 33, died in Martinsville on December 31 1912 from tuberculosis with Brights disease. A promising young man, his business career was notably successful. Funeral services will be held in Martinsville tomorrow Thursday at 11 a.m.

Fire swept the Kibby residence in the town’s west district early Sunday. Alarm sounded at 3 a.m. and the hose wagon arrived at 4 a.m. due to no one being present to trigger the alarm. The family was visiting. the building, partly insured, had an unknown origin.
