Ehrmann Factory Begins Operation with New Work Force
The Ehrmann factory started with twelve of fifteen machines in operation as managers expect to staff all eighty two machines soon. Women and girls are being trained for the new work and soon finishing at Terre Haute will be done locally. The plant gains 24 hour electric power and plans to add 24 more machines next week.

Christian Murphy Dies in Illinois at 68
Christian Murphy son of Absalom and Elizabeth Murphy was born May 10 1844 in Clark County. He died February 13 1913 at Anna Illinois aged 68 years 9 months 2 days. He married Biata E Clark April 15 1869 and had eight children four of whom survive with his wife. He served in the 123rd Illinois Volunteers nearly three years and later in the Heavenly King’s service. He is survived by his wife three sons three daughters ten grandchildren three sisters four brothers and many relatives. Burial was in Bluegrass cemetery after services by Rev S J Lindsay of Oregon Illinois.

Emrick Woman Dies at 91 in Martinsville Area
Mrs. Mary Emrick died yesterday at her daughter Mrs. George Linton home near Martinsville. One of the county's oldest citizens at 91, death attributed to age. Survived by two sons and three daughters. Funeral services will be held in Casey tomorrow.

John G. Harner born near Bell Fountain Ohio October 27 1838 died February 12 1913 after a brief illness. He moved to Illinois with his father about 1850 and lived mostly in Clark county. He married Mary M Mundy on April 8 1860 and they had 12 children nine survive. He leaves his wife 31 grandchildren one great grandchild and many relatives. He believed in Bible study and held unique views on the future life. The family thanks friends for support during bereavement.

Albert Huffington son of RE and Harriet Huffington died February 11, 1913 after a long illness. He married Harriet Miller in 1887. they had nine children, five died in infancy, four survived Ethel Fred Russell Raymond. He later married Mary Wright in 1909 and had Lucille Edward. He joined the Methodist Protestant Church at Hatton in 1903.
