The Wabash river is eroding the Illinois bank at Hutsonville with strong currents from recent high waters washing away up to 25 feet of bank. McNutt and Musgrave Bros moved their warehouse to avoid collapse, as the cut continues to threaten Main Street businesses. Over 20 years the river has shifted westward more than 100 feet with deepest water now on the Tl nots side.

Ira F. Neff died last Wednesday at his parents home three miles south of the city after a long illness of liver trouble. Aged 28 he was unmarried and respected.
