The wedding of Miss Doris Lawrence daughter of Mr and Mrs Louis Lawrence of West Union and Lyman K Shawler son of Mr and Mrs L A Shawler of West Union took place Sunday at 2 00 pm at the couple's home with Eld F M Sparling of the First Baptist church Oblong officiating. The bride wore a white crepe dress and carried white cameras with yellow and white snapdragons.Mrs Stepp was matron of honor and Omer Shawler brother of the groom was best man. A reception followed and the couple left for a short wedding trip. They will reside two miles west of West Union.
