Review of Foot Ball Season 1908 at the School
A retrospective look at the 1908 football season shows the red and white team starting strong but losing interest after a midseason turning point. After nine games the team posted three wins, two draws, and four losses, ending with a 36 to 0 defeat to Wiley at Terre Haute. Capt. Taylor Hillman Gallagher and Deuel are noted as leading players without standout stars, attributed to coaching shortcomings.
