Marshall Woman Dies In Sunday Car Crash
Mrs Frances Claire Sloan and two daughters Beverly and Evelyn were in a Marshall car crash Sunday due to icy pavement. Frances died instantly, Beverly sustained head injuries and remained hospitalized, Evelyn released next day. Funeral held at St Marys Marshall with burial in St Marys Cemetery.

Casey Nursing Home opened its doors as a convalescent center under the late Orville Bedford’s gift. Administrator Leonard Hall says expansion will add 80 beds, completing the H design with private, semi private, and four bed wards. The facility includes electric heating, in room telephones and TV, a beauty salon, chapel, and planned recreation and therapy services.
