Guests included Mra Rector, class of 87, and Cora Baird, class of 88, with Eugene Chenoweth named next year's principal speaker. The district cooperates with the Chamber of Commerce for the December 4 Christmas kickoff parade.

John Smith of Marshall, who underwent a major operation at St. Anthony Hospital in Terre Haute Monday morning, was in critical condition but showed improvement by Thursday according to a health bulletin from the hospital officials.
