Mitchell, former local man, dies after heart ailment
Henry A. Mitchell a former deputy sheriff and Saline county resident died at his home on Thanksgiving night after a sudden heart attack possibly worsened by indigestion. Born December 23, 1867 in Mountain township he lived in Saline county most of his life aside from five years in Marshall. He worked for Baker Medicine Co. and is survived by his wife three children and several siblings. Funeral was held Saturday at 2 PM at the Macedonia church Mitchellsville with interment in Blackman cemetery.
