Horse Thief Captured After Farm Theft Near Ohio Schoolhouse
A thief entered the farm barn of Harry Mauk nine miles south of the city, stealing a horse a buggy and harness. Sheriff Gallatin pursued along the trail from West York to Merom then Yale where the suspect was captured and jailed. The man identified as Sam Sanders claimed Tennessee residence and confessed to the theft receiving payment.

County gets $5294 highway fund for 1913 14 in Clark County

Obituary of Rachel Huckaba Meeker in Orange Township
Rachel Huckaba Meeker born March 19 1837 on a farm near Melrose grew to womanhood and married David Meeker in 1853. They settled in Orange Township frontier life shaped a home. 11 children were born, now living are Margaret Gilma of Pana Illinois Orlito of West Union Charles of Mariasville Presley of West Yo. She joined Nesho district Episcopal church at Weley Chapel for over fifty years. Husband died May 9 1896 and she died in Pana August 10 aged 69.

Hogs at Glen Oak farm three miles north of Marshall drank grape wine hard cider and crushed apples from a cider press left to ferment in the sun. Death of Baby Walter Isaac Dulaney
Walter Isaac Dulaney, two years old, son of Mr and Mrs Arch Dulaney of Livingston, died after a brief illness. Survived by parents two brothers two sisters grandmother and other relatives. Funeral services were held at the family home and interment followed in Livingston Cemetery on Friday.
