Deaths of the Week Edward Cole
Edward Cole died last Friday night in Anna hospital. Funeral services were held at the family residence on North Seventh Street and interment was in the city cemetery. He was a Marshall hardware merchant and postmaster from 1909 to last January. He married Edith Hodge in 1898 and leaves two children.

Mrs N Forbeck Margaret Meehling born August 30 1850 in Pittsburg Pennsylvania came to Illinois at age nine. She married Nicholas Forbeck January 12 1869 and had four children two predeceased her. Survived by husband two sons John deputy county sheriff and William J. at home, two brothers J J and George Meehling, sisters Mrs James and Mrs W Swope. Died August 9 after long illness aged 60 years 11 months 9 days. Funeral at St Marys Church August 11 Father Healey officiating burial in St Marys Cemetery.

Civil War Veteran William A Barton Dies in Terre Haute
William A Barton age 75, a Civil War veteran, died at his Terre Haute home Friday. Funeral services were held at the family residence and the body taken to Livingston for burial. Survived by four daughters and one son. A large West Terre Haute Red Men delegation with a cornet band accompanied the body to Marshall.

Death of Miss Hattie Hilt Found From Heart Disease
Fifteen year old Hattie Hilt, daughter of Henry Hilt, was found dead in her bed on South Michigan Street early yesterday. She had been active Monday and preparing for a picnic. An inquest by Coroner Howell ruled death from heart disease.
