Death of Mrs Plaskett in this city after long illness
Mrs Sarah S Plaskett wife of William Plaskett died Monday in this city at age 68 after a long illness. Funeral services were held at her home conducted by Rev Beig Sandmeyer with interment in the city cemetery. She was born August 11 1849 in Clark County Indiana and came to Illinois as a child. Ten children were born to her and I W Plaskett with two deaths in infancy and two later losses. Remaining are Charles S Guthrie Oklahoma Edward M Paw Paw Michigan Joseph C Indianapolis C B Plaskett John R Indianapolis Eliza E B Rogerd and Samuel Terre Haute plus 25 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She leaves a devoted husband and many friends. She joined the Methodist church near Clarksville and had been a bedridden invalid for years bearing her burdens cheerfully.

Death of Mrs. T. W. Clark in Chicago
Mrs. Thomas W. Clark died Monday morning in Chicago after weeks of illness from heart disease. Her body was brought to Marshall for burial in the city cemetery with funeral services by Rev. H. G. Sandmeyer. Born Sarah J. Bell in Coshocton Ohio on March 12 1863 she married Thomas W. Clark in 1872 and moved to Marshall in 1875. The family later relocated to Chicago in 1913 where she resided until her death. She leaves four living children, five grandchildren, and was active in the local Methodist church since 1896. Her health declined around early June.
