Postmaster Selection Process Outlined for Marshall

County officers raid Wests. whiskey stills seized in two homes
Sheriff Turner and Deputy Myer Faunee led raids capturing a still at a home under a trap door and about 60 gallons of mule whiskey. Thirty gallons were poured out, the rest sent to Marshall as evidence. Horton and wife detained on bonds set at 1500 dollars each. Shortage attributed to friends who borrowed county funds and failed to repay.
