Maurice E F Shadley named director of the Lincoln Trails Band festival. He has served as coordinator of music services and assistant professor of music at Indiana University since 1950. Born October 25 1909 in Greenwood Indiana he studied at Depain University Arthur Jordan Conservatory Indiana Central College and Indiana University earning degrees in music education and the doctorate. He previously taught at Rensselaer Greenwood Bridgeton Smithville and Indianapolis colleges and churches.
