Death of Mrs. Taylor near Oak Grove
Mrs. Samuel Taylor died Friday at her home near Oak Grove after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at the family residence by Rev. A. B. Cochonour, with interment in the Taylor cemetery. Eliza Jane Walker was born February 5, 1888 and married Samuel Taylor March 17, 1853. They had seven children, two died earlier. she is survived by sons William H. and John F. Taylor and daughters Fidelia Crumlin J A Hutchinson and Joretta Gilbert.

Death of Former Terre Haute Hotel Owner Peyton
Thomas T. Peyton, 70, proprietor of the Peyton Hotel on south Third street, Terre Haute, died there Thursday. Born in Indiana and raised in Livingston, Illinois, he moved to Terre Haute in 1902 to continue in hotels and was widely known. Survived by daughters Mrs Charles Thornsburg of Marshall and Miss Elizabeth Peyton of Terre Haute. Brother Jonathan Peyton died March 10. Funeral services were conducted by the Terre Haute Masonic fraternity with interment in Highland Lawn cemetery.
