Reunion of Irwin and Helena in the White Mountains
In the White Mountains a recovering Lieut. Irwin Kittredge meets Helena Berwick, a former canteen worker from France. They share days of painting and riding after a rainstorm, then reunite with her brother and friend at a party. A coincidence ties their meetings across France and the mountains, ending with a vow and happiness.
