Miss Littrell, Mr. Long Wed At Baptist ChurchFloral arrangements of yellow and white mums flanked the altar of Centennial Baptist Church for the afternoon wedding of Miss Donnis Littrell and Herbert Long on Saturday, Nov. 16. The Rev. Jerry Ostrom officiated at the single-ring ceremony at 2 o’clock.Mrs. Gerald Goff, organist, played a medley of songs along with the traditional wedding march.The bride, daughter of Mrs. Jessie Littrell of Mexico, wore a floor-length gown fashioned of ivory knit. A cluny lace bib edged with ruffled lace trimmed the empire bodice and A-line skirt. The fullbishop sleeves were cuffed with matching lace and her tiered veil of silk illusion fell from an ivory bow of polyester and lace. She carried a nosegay of bronze mums andyellow roses tied with loversknots.The brides only attendant, Mrs. Sallee Lauer, wore a floor length empire dress of peach knit, flocked with white flowers. She carried a peach rose.Best mart for Mr. Long, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert H. Long of Centralia, was James Long of Nebraska, brother of the groom.James Bradley, Larry Swon and Mike Tedrow served as ushers.Registering the guests was Miss Marilyn Stovall of Mexico. Miss Sylvia Stovall of Iowa received gifts.Mrs. Littrell wore a floor-length dress of brown polyester and embroidered lace for her daughter’s wedding and the groom’s mother’s dress was of aqua knit Both mothers and the groom’s grandmother, Mrs. E. D. Long of Wellsville, wore . shoulder corsages of white carnations.Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship ! hall. The bridal table featured ivory candles in glass candelabra. Cupids and roses topped the three-tiered wedding cake which was served by Miss Rose Marie• Williams nf St.. T Jinis. sister ofPunch and coffee were served by Mrs. Marilyn Tedrow of Iowa and Mrs. Alma Swon of Mexico, sisters of the bride. Mrs. Edna Chapman, the bride’s aunt, assisted.After a short wedding trip the couple will be at home at Rt. 1, Centralia.Mr. and Mrs. Long hosted a rehearsal dinner Friday evening at their home near Centralia.A/Vss Frisbie Wt In Centra lbCENTRALIA— Miss Joy Lynn Frisbie was married to C. Michael Reams on Nov. 9 at the First Baptist Church of Centralia with the Rev. Joe Acuff officiating at the double ring ceremony.The bridge is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold W, Reams and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde M. Reams, all of Centralia.The new Mrs. Reams wore a white empire styled, floor-length gown embossed with daisies and trimmed with pearls. She carried a nosegay of blue carnations and yellow pompons with blue ribbons.Miss Roxanne Prater of Columbia was the maid of honor and wore a blue empire styled, floor-length gown with long sleeves and a corsage ofLivewires Hold MBENTON CITY-The Liberty Livewires held their monthly meeting on Nov. 12 at the Benton City Community Hall with a carry-in dinner.This year’s project leaders were recognized and presented with an appreciation gift.New project leaders were introduced and given the project literature for the coming year.There was a short business meeting and it was announced the monthly meeting place, would be at the Benton City Community Hall on the second Tuesday of each month.
