Eugene Dickey officiated at the double ring ceremony withH. N, Corgey, organist, and Bill Brewer, soloist.Mr. and Mrs. Earl E. Byerly of Beaumont are the parents of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Cotten of Mont Belvieu are parents of the groom.The altar was decorated with uras of white gladioli and mums.MRS. The cathedral length train, decorated with re-embroidered lace appliques, depended from the empire waist line.The bride’s elbow-length veil of silk illusion was held in place by a Juliet cap trimmed with pearls.She carried a white orchid surrounded by white roses.Mrs. W. Kinsey was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Carol Byerly of Webster, sister of the bride, and Miss Cathy Cotten of Mont Belvieu, sister of the groom.Their gowns were of light blue satin fashioned with empire waists. They carried one longstemmed yellow rose.Glenn Cotten of Tyler, brother of the groom, served as best man, Fred Byerly, of Houston, brother of the bride, and David Dauphin of Baytown, were groomsmen.Jarnes Martin and Ralph Martin ushered.A reception was held in the parlor of the church. Miss Gail Hubbard of Beaumont, Miss Barbara McRight of Bridge City, Miss Mary Byerly of Beaumont, sister of the bride, Miss Sherilyn Alexander of El Paso, Miss Sandy Cotten of Mont Belvieu, sister of the groom, and Miss Jo Ann Beaumont of Beaumont, were in the houseparty.For a wedding trip to New Orleans, the bride chose a light blue knit suit with patent accessories.They will be at home after June 10 in Baytown,Mrs. Gotten received her bachelor of science degree from l^amar Tech in Beaumont and is a member o the faculty of Bridge City School District,The groom is a senior at Lamar Tech and employed For the summer at Moore Petroleum Company in Baytown.n-a* ten ade ies nds s a ore kes one
