Sherman and Miss Mary Eleanor Mullancy, both of thus city, weie married Saturday afternoon at three o’clock by Rev. Joseph O. Purdue at the parsonage of the Winter Street church. 890 Washington street. 11 The single ring ceremony was used 1 and the couple was attended by Dr. 11 and Mrs. George W. Hibbs. The bride wore a travelling suit of rose with brown accessories and carried a corsage of gardenias. Following the wadding they were tendered a luncheon by ! i Dr. and Mrs. Hibbs at their home, 1330 Washington street.Mrs. Sherman is a daughter of Mrs. Catherine T. Mullaney, 22 Snow Park. She graduated from Morse high school, class of 1936, and has since been employed as secretary to Dr. Hibbs at his dental parlors.The groom, a son of Mrs. Susie E. Sherman, Somerville. Mas.-,., has resided in Bath the last two years, being employed in the boiler shop at the Bath Iron Works Corp. He graduated from Pleasant Point high school, Bay Head, N. J„ attended Dean academy and Rutgers University.After a week end trip to Boston, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman are stopping for the present at Hotel Sedgwick.
