Born December 3 1892 at Broughton she left a husband and three children Esther Louise Robert Sherman and James Melville. A severe wind and rain storm swept Marion Monday causing minor damage citywide. The Third Baptist Church flue and roof suffered, several trees were uprooted or snapped, telephones were knocked out, power lines failed, and a tension wire nearly started a fire at Mower shop.

Clifton Conroy Died Sunday in Marion area
Clifton Conroy three months and twenty four days old, son of Mr and Mrs John T Conroy, Route 6 Marion, died at 9 p m Sunday. Born May 10, the infant is survived by parents and five siblings Russell Lavern Rosetta Roland and Quinton. Funeral services were held Monday.

Priddy Held After Fatal Shooting in Morgan Case
Abe Priddy remains in the county jail under Sheriff Melvin Thaxton awaiting grand jury action after an inquest into the death of George Morgan. The Coroner William McCown presided at Cambria with six jurors who found Priddy should be held for further proceedings following a duel on August 30 in which Morgan was struck by three bullets.
