Congressman at Large William B. Mason died in Chicago today from heart disease after a long illness. Born July 7, 1860, he was 70 years, 11 months, and 9 days old. Forty years of legal practice in Chicago. He served in both Illinois houses and was a former United States Senator and current Congressman at Large.

Mrs Minnie Woodside fractured her left leg four inches above the ankle when a porch swing at Rev H T Abbotts on North 16th Street collapsed.
