Willi Joy Brame six months old son of Mr and Mrs W J Brame of South Liberty street died Saturday morning after long illness. Born February 4 he had been an invalid child for days. A daughter Margaret Imogene survives. Funeral from the home Sunday afternoon Rev A E Prince in charge with music by Baptist Ladies Quartet. Burial at Maplewood Cemetery.

Home girls, students, and working women are similarly represented with 19, 8, and 16 respectively, and the leading brides include stenographers waitresses teachers and telephone operators. The average age across all brides is 21, with waitresses 20 teachers 24 operators 19 and stenographers 24. Working girls average 22, home girls 22, students about 19.

Mr and Mrs Jones of Moline Illinois could not travel to Seattle to visit their son Albert B Jones and family so they sent a motion picture reel titled A day in the Country. A local operator projected the one reel at the Jones home on a bed sheet screen drawing many former Moline residents to watch. The film shows the couple on their flower bedecked lawn garden settee a river picnic a tire repair a pig incident a bonnet recovery and other features. Grandchildren who had never seen their western kin requested repeats as the reel played multiple times.

The funeral for Mrs. Jane Duty, who died of apoplexy in Pittsburg, was held at her home at 1 p.m. Thursday with Reverends Lyman Davis and Steve Webb officiating, and burial in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. She was born August 10 1828 in Lee county and was 83 years 10 months 25 days old.
