James Zollicoffer died at 6 30 am Friday after falling ill Wednesday night near Sloge ine and being taken home. He was 46 and survived by wife Mrs Litton Pierce Zollioffer, married twenty years in Labamea. A Spanish American War veteran, he belonged to United Mine Workers, formerly Redmen and Odd Fellows. Funeral planned Saturday in Marion. A coroner jury found death from appendicitis after a silk spell.
