Coroner jury rules death of Jeanette Lambert a poisoning from pills used by the mother. The Goreville area child, born December 31 1919, died at 8 46 pm after taking tablets found on a kitchen table while the mother was on the back porch. Funeral services were held at Friendshin church near Goreville with Reverend Jones officiating. the incident marks the county’s second such death in under a month.

Exhumation Plan Set for Argonne Area Graves
The War Department announced that actual exhumations of American soldiers buried in Sureness Belleaux Wood Argonne and Flanders Field cemeteries will begin May 1. Bodies from these cemeteries will be returned only if relatives requests are approved by the Cemeterial Division in Washington. Major General H L Rogers said preparations are under way and supplies and labor will be concentrated near the cemeteries to speed the work.

Work has begun on Marion's new theatre at the southwest corner of the public square. O W Stiegemeyer of Kennerly and Stiegemeyer St Louis assists the project with Ad Buecker as foreman. The Holland building is being torn down and adjacent shops are wrecked except the west Landers shop section kept for the architect. The 65 by 105 foot brick structure will rise 47 feet high with a stage large enough for road shows and a basement for bollers.
